Cacade High School Jazz Studies is a performance-oriented program, with a focus to learn as much as possible about music from the Big Band Era.
Members must be highly self-motivated and have a strong music background sufficient to learn and perfect more than sixty pieces of music in a very short amount of time. The course provides extensive training in music theory, ear training, musical style, improvisation, and music history.
